The Benefits of Artificial Grass
Soggy wet and muddy, or yellow-tinged, dry and patchy surfaces – UK garden lawns battle extreme weather patterns as a result of rising global temperatures. Our gardens require a lot of time, effort and care to maintain, principally because lawn care is so challenging and time consuming. Sustaining healthy, lush, cut-to-size grass is a battle for even the best of British gardeners. An artificial lawn offers a year-round solution, as well as valuable maintenance savings for your pocket, your planet and your time.
Development in synthetic grass – offers exceptionally natural looking alternatives to real lawns. Artificial grass takes away maintenance woes of garden lovers, while still delivering the perfect look lawn. Easigrass has even developed a product with flawlessly manicured stripes to give lawns the professionally mown appearance.
It lifts problem areas. Artificial grass is an excellent way to brighten up and improve the aesthetics of small, shady areas where natural grass struggles to thrive. Balconies, terraces and pool areas all benefit in appearance with a touch of green.
Artificial turf is also extremely tough, durable and safe. That’s why it is such a popular choice for sport complexes and schools, and a blessing to parents and pet owners. You can let your child or pets play in the garden safe in the knowledge they will not be trailing mud back through the house or causing any damage to your lawn. Opt for a shock pad base to be fitted underneath the lawn, and you also add extra safety elements for children sports and playtime in your garden.
Artificial Grass for Pets
For many of our clients the driving force for installation of artificial grass is to improve the appearance of their lawn which is constantly messed up by their pet and to eliminate the mess trailed into the house during wet conditions.
Installation of artificial grass transforms the lawn and there is no mud or soil to be transferred into the house.
Frequently asked Questions
Artificial grass is becoming ever popular amongst the UK population due to its low maintenance, its realistic look and its dream garden appeal. These are some of the frequently asked questions about artificial grass that we are often asked.
Q. How much artificial grass will I need?
A. Every garden is different, but the average size of a domestic garden we install is between 50 and 60 square metres.
Q. How do I measure my garden
A. Take measurements across the longest and widest points of your area. You will then need to round these measurements up to the nearest metre. Then multiply the width by the length and this will give you your square meterage requirement.
Q. Does artificial grass fade?
A. No, not at all. It is fully UV protected, so it retains its lovely lush, green colour and we offer 8 year warranty against fading.
Q. How long does it take to lay?
A. A 50 square metre garden can be laid in a single day. This is obviously dependent on site specific conditions.
Q. Does it flatten?
A. Yes, if you have a lot of traffic running over the top of the artificial grass, it will crush and bend just like real grass, but if you want it upright, all you have to do is brush it against the pile to raise it back up again.
Q. Can I fit artificial grass myself?
A. We recommend that our artificial grass is installed by our professionally trained installation teams, which will ensure the highest quality.
Q. Are there different types of artificial grass
A. Yes, we offer many different types of artificial grass. Whether you use your garden for sport, a children’s play area, or simply to relax and unwind, theres an Easigrass product to suit you.
Q. Is artificial grass maintenance free?
A. Artificial grass will require professional cleaning, brushing and sweeping at least once a year. Other than that, all you need to do is keep it clear and rinse off any dirt or stains.
Q. Is Easigrass Eco-Friendly artificial grass?
A. Easigrass is committed to minimising negative impact upon the environment. Products are made from recycled matter and our Easibug and Twizzy team vehicles are all eco-respectful. For dry areas where water is at a premium, Easigrass helps communities conserve precious water sources.
Q. Does Easigrass impact on The Wildlife Corridor?
A. Easigrass stipulates that each and every installation needs to take place nearby to flora and fauna: a tree, shrubs, plants or pots. Specific products can be recommended upon request.

A. Our artificial grass is fully adaptable to both use inside and out, both dry areas such as a living room or office and also within a damp bathroom environment.
